With the COVID-19 pandemic causing sports events all over the world to grind to a halt, and some leagues only starting back up slowly now, bettors have needed something else to focus on. And what better option that Big Brother? And
A vast number of bettors have swapped sports for entertainment betting, and Betway Nigeria has made sure that Nigerian’s have had easy access to a wide number of markets. The official headline sponsor of season 5 of Big Brother Naija, the sportsbook has done an excellent job of offering daily deals, special promotions, predictors and trivia on all the housemates.
With less than two weeks to go to the grand September 27 finale, things are starting to really heat up as the final sprint towards the multi-million Naira prize money begins.
Recent Evictions Change the Game
Recently evicted BBNaija housemate Prince Nelson says he’s surprised by his eviction, as he thought the odds were in his favour.
Last Sunday, Prince got evicted alongside fellow former-housemate Kiddwaya, leaving only Tricktee, Laycon, Dorathy, Vee, Negi, Neo, and Ozo remaining in the running for the N85 million grand prize. Prince however now says he had a feeling he would be the one facing a final week in the house.
During his time in the Big Brother Naija house, Prince really put his talents out there for all his fans to see. His talents range from dancing to acting and hairdressing. He played a great game and put on a good show, but ultimately, it wasn’t enough.
Kiddwaya Still Loves Erica
As for Kiddwaya, his goal wasn’t really to make it all the way to the grand prize. Instead, he wanted to have as much fun as possible and enjoy something completely new and unfamiliar. Even though evicted, he says he remains thankful for his journey – a journey that involved meeting new people and expanding his own personal network.
Questions also arose over Kiddwaya’s relationship will fellow housemate Nengi. But he says that he and Nengi were just friends, nothing more.
As for Erica Nlewedim, the former BBNaija housemate disqualified from the show for breaking several house rules, Kiddwaya says his love for her is real, and remains as strong as ever before. Erica will always “have his back” said Kiddwaya of his relationship with the now-disqualified former housemate.
Erica Is BB History On Repeat
Long-time fans of the show will probably know that Erica’s disqualification wasn’t the popular reality TV show’s first. In fact, she’s the third housemate to have got disqualified from the game in as many series.
Few fans will forget last season’s controversial disqualification of Tacha over her catfight with Mercy, who ultimately ended up winning Season 4. And during Season 3, it would be Khloe and K-Brule facing the disqualification heat. Khloe was however forgiven and eventually invited back into the house.
The Final Stretch
Fans can only expect the action to heat up even more from now on out, and those wanting to back their favourite housemate for a win can do so at Betway.
The Nigerian-facing sportsbook offers competitive odds on the series, and you can get in on the action by putting money on which BBNaija housemate you think will be the winner. Thanks to Betway, it’s not only the housemates who can land a massive cash prize.
