Bharti Airtel Limited is an Indian global telecom and mobile money service organisation headquartered in New Delhi, India. It operates in 18 African and South Asian countries, and the Channel Islands.

Its subsidiary, Airtel Payment Bank, was established in 2017 to support the Indian Government’s cashless agenda. The bank then launched the Airtel Money digital wallet that allows customers to pay bills, recharge electricity, airtime and other accounts, and conduct general eCommerce business.

How To Use Airtel

To apply for an Airtel account, you need to visit the Airtel website on your computer or mobile phone and follow the prompts.

For a Minimum KYC Wallet, you’ll need to submit details like your name, date of birth, PIN code, mobile phone number, and PoI. The eWallet is valid for two years and can be used for credit or debit card transactions online.

The Full KYC Wallet has a higher limit for larger transactions, and can be linked to a prepaid card and used for online credit or debit card transactions, online shopping, cashback, travel tickets and hotel bookings, and other eCommerce-based deposits and payments.
